eBay appeared before the Supreme Court on March 29. It is fighting an injunction against its Buy It Now feature by the patent-holder, MercExchange. A decision is expected from the High Court in June.
April 17th is the deadline for filing taxes in the U.S. And just in time, Intuit launched a version of its tax-preparation software - customized for eBay sellers.
eBay is set to launch its new eBay Express marketplace later this month. eBay is pitching it as a more conventional ecommerce experience. eBay said it will also launch a version of Express in Germany in the fall. PayPal has officially introduced PayPal Mobile. The service allows consumers to send money via text-messaging using mobile phones.
And now, you can get eBay data through your cell phone. Mpire launched a mobile version of its eBay research tool. It will cost $4.99 a month.
Marking a significant change. The National Auctioneers Association has decided to broaden its focus. The NAA formerly limited membership to - - traditional bid-calling auctioneers. Now, it will include eBay sellers and other new forms of auctions.
Zoovy announced the launch of its AJAX ecommerce site builder - making it possible for any company to have a Web 2.0 ecommerce site.
